Bokmässan takes place on 24–27 September 2026 at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg. If you want to spend your travel budget on books and programme items, it is worth comparing accommodation along the public transport lines, not just the nearest hotels by the fair.
Korsvägen or accommodation further away?
Korsvägen is a natural starting point when you search for accommodation near Svenska Mässan. Compare the actual walking route from the accommodation to the right entrance. A room further away can be a better choice if the tram journey suits both the first seminar of the morning and the last activity of the evening.

Book the nights your programme requires
A four-day fair does not automatically require four hotel nights. Start from your tickets and programme items. Check which days and times your fair ticket is valid for, when you need to be there and whether arriving earlier makes the trip more relaxed.
If you come by train, compare arriving the evening before with an early journey the same morning. Include both the extra night of accommodation and the risk of a stressful connection in your decision. Confirm luggage storage if you want to go straight from check-out to the fair.
