This guide covers accommodation for concerts and other events at Ullevi. The article’s earlier dates for Swedish House Mafia, 28–29 August 2026, have passed. Check upcoming events with the arena before you book a new trip.
Search along the tram network and compare the total price. Ullevi is central and can be reached on foot from Göteborg Central, so accommodation near the station or on a direct line often works just as well as a room by the arena.
How close do you need to stay?
Ullevi is about a 10–15 minute walk from Göteborg Central. If your accommodation is in the centre, in Vasastan or near a direct tram, you rarely need a taxi. Keep Ullevi and Gamla Ullevi apart when you plan your journey.
- The centre and Centralstationen for an easy journey home
- Vasastan for walking distance
- Linné and Majorna for more budget options
- Mölndal or Partille when central Gothenburg is full
Late check-in after the concert
Check the reception’s closing time before you book. Ask for written self check-in instructions and save them offline. Also ask about night entrance and whether a key or code works after midnight.
Save on the whole stay
A guest kitchen can reduce your food costs during an expensive event weekend. Compare whether sheets, towel, breakfast and luggage storage are included. If you are travelling in a group, a private room can be cheaper than several hotel rooms.
